This initiative has contributed to society by digitalizing geotechnical information and advancing the creation of databases. It has also been highly regarded as a valuable contribution to research in the field of geosciences, including geotechnical engineering. In 2009, we received the Technology Achievement Award from the Japanese Geotechnical Society.
