We have developed a simplified multi-stage in-hole inclinometer named “K-Ta” to monitor sediment behavior within the ground, which contrasts with conventional monitoring on the surface of slopes. With a structure that can be installed in a short time with a small number of people, it is used for monitoring deformation of dangerous slopes and preventing secondary disasters during landslide restoration work. When used in combination with “KANSOKUO,” it is possible to quickly build an automatic slope monitoring system.
