As a part of structural maintenance, we conduct automatic remote measuring and monitoring in real-time. This is done to understand the behavior of the structure and used for studying possible timing and details of future facility upgrades. Examples include railway bridge piers, retaining walls, and drainage tunnels for preventing landslide.
In order to ensure safe railway operation, we check the verticality of railway bridge piers using tilt sensors, measure water levels of the river, and use web cameras for monitoring.
