Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CKC has entrusted with overseas projects led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and JICA, and has worked on the creation of agricultural businesses and food value chains. In particular, we have been implementing \u201cProject of Interchange, Cooperation and Business Creation for Nikkei Farmers of Latin America\u201d by MAFF since 2012 aiming to enhance cooperation between Japan and Nikkei farmers in Latin American countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru etc for further business development for Japanese companies in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to build a food value chain for the overseas expansion of Japan’s agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and food-related industries, CKC has conducted researches regarding to the development of grain transportation infrastructure, as well as implemented the coordination of bilateral policy dialogues with Brazil and Argentina. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We proceed with projects in Latin America in cooperation with our Brazil office in Sao Paulo by utilizing the network with Nikkei farmers in the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
