Disaster-resilient community development
We design a sustainable future society that is resilient to disasters, flexible, and vibrant.
To contribute to disaster-resilient community development through self-help, mutual assistance, and public assistance in municipalities, we support the creation of various hazard maps, various disaster prevention plans, and the development and revision of manuals to be used during disasters. When developing these, we propose methods that involve residents to reflect the voices of local people and build consensus. In addition, to encourage residents to take voluntary evacuation actions in response to various situations during a disaster, we assist with everything from scenario development to planning and operation of tabletop disaster prevention drills (DIG) and field evacuation drills.
