General Employer Action Plan
Based on the Act on Promotion of Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation (hereinafter referred to as the "Next Generation Act"), the following three points are established when companies work to improve the employment environment to enable employees to balance work and childcare, and to improve diverse working conditions, including for employees who do not have children.
(1) Planning period
(2) Specific goals
(3) Measures to achieve the objectives and the timing of their implementation
Planning period: April 1, 2020 - March 31, 2020
Our company's initiatives to promote the advancement of women
Since the mid-2010s, our company has been promoting diversity, including the active employment of female employees. As a result, the average age of our female employees is younger than that of our male employees, and the gender wage gap described above exists as of 2025.
Our company's performance evaluation system assesses both male and female employees equally and at the same level. We will work to improve the work experience of our female employees and reduce the gender pay gap in the medium to long term.

Efforts toward work style reform
Chuo Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. has established a "Work Style Reform Promotion Committee" within the company to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and to implement work style reform initiatives.
Examples of initiatives
What is Kurumin certification?
Kurumin is a system in which the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare certifies companies as "childcare support companies" if they meet requirements such as formulating an action plan based on the Act on Promotion of Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation and achieving their goals. In order to be certified as a Kurumin company, there are 10 criteria that must be met, including a female childcare leave utilization rate of 75% or more, the ability to choose working styles when there are children before elementary school age, and a male childcare leave utilization rate. These criteria were revised in 2022, and the design of the Kurumin mark was also updated.
Initiatives to improve employee satisfaction
In 2019, a working group of 10 young employees in their 20s and early 30s was formed to consider creating an attractive work environment, and they made recommendations to the president and management team regarding creating a more comfortable working environment.
As a result, Chuo Kaihatsu has established a specialized department (ES Promotion Office) aimed at improving employee satisfaction (ES), and regularly conducts surveys of all employees to quantify employee satisfaction and strive to improve it.
