PRESIDENT ICHIRO SEKO
Message from the New President on Taking Office

Chuo Kaihatsu Corporation(CKC) was founded in 1946 and is a total consulting company that centers its activates on gsoil and waterh ? twoelements which we consider to serve as the foundation of the nation.

In its early years, the Companyfs activities were closely tied with aiding Japan in recovering from the devastating conditions of the era, including severe energy and food shortages. As we helped the country get back on its feet during those tough times, we were also dealing with important issues essential for national development, including the training of engineers to meet the demands of the new post-war era and otherwise contributing to national rehabilitation.

During the period of high-economic growth that followed, we were involved with the planning, research and design for various projects on a nation-wide scale and making strong efforts to stimulate the development of the Japanese economy.

Now as we enter the 21st. Century,CKC is yet faced with new challenges arising from the rapid changes in the social environment around us. Still, as in the past, we will continue to refine our skills and capabilities to deal with the issues of the era, whether they be environmental or disaster-prevention tasks, or adapting to the emergence of an ubiquitous IT society. Above all, as a consulting firm, we are dedicated to offering a timely response and optimal solution to the problems that confront us.

The World will most likely continue to diversify in the future. Everyday, new issues araise, such as the decline in the population-growth rate and the needs of an aging society. Yet, CKC will carry on with research and development of new technologies to meet the requirements of the era we live in, unwavering in our efforts to offer appropriate solutions to the needs of the time.

CKC's guiding precepts
